MEN (Archive from October 20, 2003)

Okay... so I've been in this "situation" for a few months now where this guy has been, for lack of a better word, chasing me to go out with him. I finally do. It's okay. I think, "All right, I'll give this a shot." Today he tells me that we have to stop seeing each other because he's not ready for a "relationship." So here are my questions to the population at large...a) Why do men only want you until you want them?b) Why do men always tell you they don't want a relationship as if they are letting you down? Do they honestly believe we all WANT relationships right off the bat?c) Where did men get the idea that saying "I like you too much for this to work" is going to illicit any reaction other than hysterical laughter? I mean, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?Okay, I feel a bit better now.
